About Michael James Band

After he won the 2010 KLTY "Find Your Voice Contest" with his original song "I'm Going Back" Michael James knew God's will for his life. Some prayers later, he gathered a band from guys he hadn't been in contact with for years. Each having previous experience in worship venues, they've created their own brand of contemporary rock that is the Michael James Band.

The East Texas-based group consists of gifted drummer/percussionist and back-up vocalist Morgan Good, and his twin brother Stephan Good with his artistic play on lead guitar. Playing rhythm, Michael is the passionate lead singer. The driving vibes of Alex Erwin's bass guitar completes the band.

With eleven songs written, five recorded, and a new music video, the Michael James Band credits their success to staying in God's will. Their mission is to create music not only as entertainment but in ministering to the heart, leading lost souls to a merciful God.

Upcoming for the band includes completing their first album, a packed schedule of performances, and having their song, "Consume Me" in the docudrama "I Love You Mom, Please Don't Break My Heart."
