Sometimes growing up in the church isn't enough. Michael is living proof a loving God. Despite his upbringing in a loving Christian home, Michael fell into a lifestyle of darkness and despair. Addicted to drugs and alcohol, his life came unraveled. Then God changed him. Michael has surrendered his life to ministry. He is writing the anthems for a generation that is turning back to Jesus. God is using Michael's testimony to show lost souls that you are never beyond God's reach.
Morgan Good - Drums
A true heart for worship and a desire to serve the Lord has been the driving force in Morgan Good's life and career. Playing drums since the age of three, God began preparing him for service at an early age. By his teenage years, Morgan sensed God's calling to ministry for Him. He never looked back. Through everything, Morgan continues to allow God to guide him in every aspect of His ministry.
Stephan Good - Lead Guitar
Stephan Good has immersed himself in ministry with his twin brother Morgan at his side. As the lead guitarist of The Michael James Band, Stephan adds character and life to the group. His pursuit of tone has shaped many of the musical textures that define the band's sound. His heart for worship is apparent on and off the stage.
Alex Erwin - Bass
At 18 years of age, the youngest member of The Michael James Band shows great maturity. Suffering his share of scares from a life lived on his own terms, Alex turned to Jesus. He discovered a loving, caring, gracious, forgiving, God who can take what is broken and make it whole again. Alex is certainly not ashamed to proclaim the gospel of Christ to those he meets.
Ken Sims - Keyboard
A veteran musician, Ken Sims brings experience to the band and their ministry. Ken also serves as the worship pastor at Main Street Baptist Church in Grand Saline, TX.
